Jem's been part of our core group for a while now so it's high time we included him in our list of Moles. Not only is he fit enough to give us all a run for our money but he's also quietly competent on the lumpy stuff too.

Jem rides a VooDoo Wanga, something you don't see many of in darkest Surrey, which has seen service as a singlespeed, a 1x9 and possibly now a conventional 27 geared machine — so he knows it pretty well. He also, as with many of us runs an Orange Five, one of the best all day machines for this neck of woods and elsewhere.

Being on the shorter side Jem's also got plenty of advice for other riders sharing his dimensions. Like, how to get a bike that properly fits. It really does make all the difference…
