Bone idle

This weekend I will mostly be not getting out of bed, cos I was a lazy git.
Consider this a public apology for my no show on Sunday.
On Saturday evening, as I sat drinking white wine in front of the telly, I thought to myself "I haven't heard from Dave or Matt. I guess that it will be usual time and usual place. I really must give one of them a ring to make sure"
Time went by. Wine went by.
I then thought to myself "I bet it will be really cold and icy in the morning. I didn't get much of a lay in this morning. I guess that as no one has rung, we aren't going out in the morning"
And so, having convinced myself that I was in the right, I went to bed, and slept the sleep of the slightly inebriated.
Next morning everything was brought into clarity.
I had had a lay in. We were going cycling. Matt has a new mobile phone, and is not afraid to use it.
And most importantly, I am a lazy git.
So, sorry chaps. I will take it from now on that if I don't hear differently, it will be usual place, usual time!

It's OK. Now that you have missed our "average" ride you must be some sort of super athlete who only comes out for the "epics".
