A place to refuel during a ride around the local hills.

The Refreshments at the top of Box Hill have a home made feel often found on National Trust sites. Of choice I’d go for the Flapjack or the Treacle Tart. The flapjack is less sticky than I make myself but it doesn’t venture into the crunchy side of flapjack either. Try dunking it in your hot chocolate on a wintery day! The Treacle tart is ideal for a huge sugar rush and very easily digestible.

Temptation – The Chocolate Fudge Brick, denser than dark matter this cake is made up from much of the crumbs left over from make all the other delights. Very tasty but WAY too heavy if you intend to cycle up any hills on the way back. If you must try the dark side share it with 4 or 5 mates and masticate thoroughly!
