After the nasty shock of the alarm I ambled into the kitched to hear the sounds of rain on the roof. Real winter riding is back!

Yep, British Winter riding is all about mud and bikes that started white and ended the ride a dirty brown speckled colour. Must be the Olympics.

Anyway, compared to some of the sub zero rides of late an almost pleasent change for the three moles... well, two moles actually. As I remarked to Mark while enjoying some flapjack and Hot Chocolate at the oasis that is the teashop atthe top of Box Hill, "Weren't the two of us here last wet ride back in December?". And so it was that Matthew "Susan" Addison wimped out again because he "wanted to clear the garage" in preparation for building up the Inbred.

I look forward to a small essay on the build up, with pictures, posted by next weekend together with a first ride report. ;o)
