I've now racked up just under 300 miles on my 2007 Orange Five, not quite enough to post a full review but enough to understand that I absolutely love this bike.

The three things that I love most are:

  1. The front end - the combination of a Mavic UST wheelset and Rock Shox Pike forks makes this so resistant to twisting forces. Basically I just point it and it goes
  2. The SRAM X-0 gearset. What can I say? 300 miles in and not one missed shift yet
  3. The intermittant ticking noises that the Hope floating rotors make as they cool down in my garage after a hard ride - ace!

Oh, and I didn't even need to mention that striking solid blue paintjob...

Hi
Just looking for reviews on the Orange 5. I am thinking about buying the Diva version as I am vertically challanged but want a full Sus bike. Have an Orange C-16R at the moment with worn out componants so decide I'd go for a new one.

Problems with stand over height. My current Orange is only 26" and this little Diva actually has the same Stand over height, so I'm back at Orange.

Can you give me anymore info now you have ridden yours a while and does the normal 5 ride the same I wonder?

Look forward to anyones comments on any bikes for 5' ladies wanting to have more fun than my old Orange can give!
