I've just come across a great blog that combines girls and bikes, always a winning combination in my book. It shows lots of (work friendly) photos of women commuting by bike in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Girls on Bikes claims it is social documentary in high heels, but we know better. Actually it's a great website that shows not only that there's a thriving bike culture in Copenhagen being photographed by someone with some real camera skills, but more importantly that the place seems to be full of great looking women. It makes me want to move to Copenhagen!

Actually, the site author makes an interesting point on why more people don't choose to commute by bike:

If there are car commuters sitting in traffic thinking, 'Hmm, today would be a nice day for riding to work...' they are hardly going to be encouraged to ride when they see lyrca-clad, hard-core cyclists flying past. On the contrary.

They'll think, 'Oh bollocks, if I want to ride I'll have to infiltrate a closed sub-culture, not to mention buy loads of gear in order to 'fit in' and be accepted...'

Unfortunately it seems there's a lot of truth in that, and just look at what we're missing!
