Humour is a rich and wonderful thing, and April Fool's Day (hey it's April already!) is always the perfect chance for aspiring mirth meisters to switch on the snigger machine.
But honestly, does each passing minute really result in another addition to Team Gullible? I'll admit, when I first saw reports of GM buying Specialized I had a momentary wobble of doubt but this was quickly put to rest when I stopped to consider the klaxon sound of warning that was ringing in my ears.
Then of course there was the announcement from Pinkbike that RockShox had just 'released' their new FAR Technology (or Future Air Release Technology for the pedants). Now that one was easier to see through than a pint of nothing, even so some commenters appeared to miss the benefits that the system promises. Made me chuckle though.
In other news, I'm back on the ol' antibiotics. What a downer, I can only nod my head as I read Colin's offload rant. I still don't feel I've fully recovered from my turn of year 'flu and last week felt rougher than a bucket of sheepdip which resulted in a trip to the doc's to get more magic pills. Hopefully the road to recovery is in sight, but it's phlegm covered and slippier than wet chalk.
