Anyone who has looked at our films on Vimeo will have seen what the rather neat Oregon Scientific ATC2K helmet cam can do. Well they've just upped the stakes.

Oregon Scientific ATC3K helmet cam

The ATC2K is a self contained camcorder idea for extreme sports as it is weatherproof and shock proof. It comes with all manner of mounts and is powered by 2xAA batteries and records to a standard SD card. Connection to your PC is via a USB cable and if you check out our Vimeo videos you can see what sort of results you can get with it helmet mounted.

However, mine is going on eBay tomorrow! The ATC3K and ATC5K have been announced and the ATC3K Action Cam is currently available for sale.

It comes with a wider lens and improved CMOS sensor plus it's capable of accepting 4Gb cards.

The ATC5K has an even wider lens, an LCD display and remote control:
