Having just 'got over' Eurobike 2008 it's soon time for Interbike 2008 to takes it's turn in the spotlight — well the Nevada sun actually. There's an Outdoor Demo on 22-23 September in Boulder City, followed by the Vegas bash over 24-26 September.

What will we see? I've no idea but the 650b movement will surely be trying to take a step forward. The more I hear about Kirk Pacenti's evangelising efforts, the more intriguing it sounds - a combined wheel and tyre size roughly matching the sizing of road wheels and sitting halfway between 26er and 29er bikes. So, good rolling properties and some of the wieldiness of traditional 26ers.

Beyond that I don't know. Interbike is the biggest event on the cycling calendar and always influences what we'll be riding a year or two years from now. But hey, they'll still be bikes right?
