I was a lonely old Mole at the garage last Wed. I hadn't posted the ride as I wasn't sure I was going to make it due to a surfeit of cider at the cricket the day before. I dragged myself out, but you were all tapering down for Mayhem. I had a very pleasant ride, all the same.

I suspect that no-one has any brake pads left, but I plan to be out tomorrow (no cider today) so will aim to be at Hylands Garage in time, work permitting.

You'll be lucky Dandy...most of our bikes are in bits!

The Whyte is still gently steaming in the garage as a result of the MM bog snorkeling extravaganza and may never turn a wheel again!

Will use an alternative pedalling device for tonight.

Very pleasant evening out; warm and dry weather, comfortable pace, good company and D'Andy standing me a pint and a bag of crisps at the end. The cycling gods decided to smile last night - perhaps because KevS was out with us and they were compensating him for the muddy hell of MM.
