With Saturday morning looking a lot drier than Sunday, I'll be heading to Swinley tomorrow morning; if any fancies joining me for some berm bashing, I'll aim to be there for 08:30.

Sunday mornining is looking wet and windy - I hope the forecast improves in the next 24hrs. Even Saturday looks like drizzle in the morning - but I'll be out with the local boys somewhere around Ranmore. All things considered, not a great weekend. :(

Have a good time in Swinley JH.

I feel for you. I will be there tomorrow, getting very wet and muddy. I wish my mobi had a warm water shower attachment. ;)

Are you allowed to use the Mobi with this hosepipe ban then? Ironic that it's to wash the mud off :(

The hosepipe ban does not apply to bicycles. Well at least for us in Sutton and East Surrey Water it applies to washing "Motor Vehicles" and boats, or patios . . . not bikes! :D

Of couse you may want to be careful not to upset your neighbours.

As John says. Further, because it is not connected to the mains water supply I can also use it to clean the car if I wish.

I did a very wet and muddy ride with the Swindon MTB guys this morning. Hard work but good fun (I think).

My MudXs were supreme, what a tyre. I pumped them up to 35psi in anticipation of deep mud and that worked well, but they were also gripping marvelously on the slippery stuff.

The mobi cleaned the bike in 5 mins, the Swinley mud just fell off, so I arrived home with a clean bike.

I hardly used the brakes but my old set were totally gone when I checked at home, just shows how much wear grit can do.

Last but not least; I think my moles top is waterproof.  I was really surprised but at the end of the ride my upper body was bone dry despite almost non stop rain throughout the ride. My best MTB clothing purchase ever.

Well done to anyone else who got out this weekend.
