For those who fancy a tour around Holmbury hill and maybe some of pitch. More technical riding than miles. I will be at Car Park 9 (the one after the YHA car park) to leave at 8am. Should be a few hours of riding.

Hi Andy - I will be up for this. I'm guessing you know a few trails that I don't in that neck of the woods, so it could be a good discovery session for me. I've just booked a Cwmcarn DH day for the end of March, and I also have a session with Tony Doyle coming up. I'm just hoping I remain injury free to make the most of all this

Well, I was planning a nice local look and a nice dry China Pig. But, that's just been knackered by the rain so no idea really.

If it's no problem, and you don't mind the minor detour, then I'd appreciate a lift, thanks. I will pm you my address and mobile number, you can let me know if there's any problems, and let me know what time. Cheers

I think I will keep it local tomorrow. Will put a route together based on ending up at Box Hill for tea and cake. Whether that means Ranmore first or Alsation I'll decide on the day. Guess it all depends how well the ground drys as well. Looking good for tomorrow though so fingers crossed.

I do not whether this helps but I went out for a Chilterns ride today and on the whole conditions were pretty good; mainly dry but soft underneath except in two places (sadly near the start of my ride). Those places always get muddy first and yesterday's rain had turned them into a quagmire. What was I thinking taking the mudguards off ? A different route and I would not needed to have cleaned my bike.

It was great to have the sun on my back for the second week running. We just need the leaves and hedges to start growing to help soak the moisture out of the soil.

Enjoy your ride tomorrow.
