My, things have changed. I was hoping to just settle for some riding! Clearly, Moles activities have changed somewhat in my absence

Colin, you're the one who introduced animal molestation to the rides! Need I mention the badger.......

I confirm that summer conditions are still out there :o

Snuck out for a cheeky 90 mins this afternoon, taking in Chainbreaker, Secret Singletrack and Life on Mars. Very nice indeed not having to faff about loading/unloading bikes from cars, etc. Seemed like there'd been a bit of a shower over Headley way, but nothing heavy.

Forecast seems ok for Sunday, with some rain coming in on Monday. I will avoid the RWC final and join you lot instead, after this morning's game it's all a bit too much for me :(

The sun is out, mtbrs come from far and wide... I have got my book stamped and will be joining you tomorrow. I had a short ride this morning just to check I am ok as I have had a bug and not been out on the bike very much lately.

I have Dandy's mobile number so I will call or text him if there are any unexpected problems on the M25. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

P.S Happy Birthday Dandy. :D

Has it escaped the attention of the Moles that it is your 21st birthday again for the 31st time!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dandy, it's a shame you could'nt celebrate with a better posistion in the RWC.

Celebrate in style tomorrow at Newlands with a bacon butty and a mug of tea :P

All the best

Jem

Tim you could do it all on the cross bike with the exception of a few hundred yards or so around the Abba Zabba (White Down off-road) area and even here there's enough alternatives that you'd only be walking a relatively short stretch down two or three rooty sections.

The rest is essentially cross country.

Thanks for your good wishes chaps, definitely feeling my age now that I'm in my early thirties :o

Looking forward to Tim showing us how to ride Abba Zabba on a cross bike tomorrow :)
