Yesterday a few people were discussing a mole ride at Swinley. This weekend is probably the only chance I am going get to check out the new Stickler extension and a couple of other places before I guide the Swindon MB club around Swinley in November.

Update: Sunday seems better, but I am flexible for Saturday if that helps.

stickler is closed 27th oct to 3rd nov according to the signs on it - they are extending it a bit more.

Thanks Andrew. I have read a few comments on this but I am not bothered as there is so much else to do there but I would like to check on the work before I guide next month. It seems that they are creating a new entrance to Stickler off the whole nine yards (rather than go down that usually very muddy firetrack section) at one end, and then they are creating another section that will exit towards Seagull.

And the gates that were up on that section behind the entrance to the labyrinth - where the old rusty scooter is - seem to be down/open now.

Is the mole ride going to be Swinley this Sunday or is it Bocketts as usual?

Lloyd, probably both - but will the extra hour of kip entice a few more to Swinley ? Currently self, Big Al and Banzai.
