Few Moles on Hols but hopefully still a few of us out.

Suggest normal start at Bocketts Farm, 8:30am but looking like it might be raining! Hurrah! ;o(

I thought we might just ride the local stuff unless anyone wants to head South.

I'm up for a ride Sunday. The latest from the Met Office doesn't look too bad - a few passing showers, which may pass us by entirely. On the other had that was the forecast this morning and I got drenched on Ranmore.

With the rain in the last few days ther are quite a few puddles, so maybe heading to the sandier routes like Headley or Leith would be an idea . . . ?

I should be out also. Have just replaced the tractor tyres on the Pace, it was still wearing the dual ply 2.4 inch super tacky High Rollers. With the heavy duty DH inner tubes I had about 1.8kg of rubber on each wheel.

I could fancy a trip towards Leith, not having been out much recently, but happy to cruise any hood with me homies 8-) (or if that makes you cringe  )

My CrossMark had a small hole right on the bead, and would be exposed just as I got the tyre up to about 30psi. Realising that the sealant wasn't going to stop the leak, I thought I'd replace it with my MudX (seeing as its still a little damp in these parts). The fresh sealant had the effect of gluing the tyre to the rubber sealing strip. After an hour of sweating and cursing, I resorted to the serrated steak knife to saw the knackered CrossMark in half to remove it. Glad that didn't happen out on the trail :)

Just back from my hols and DH weary; looking forward to getting back on my trail bike, so I'll be there.

OK, we'll head over to Leith Hill.

Probably a classic sort of route rather than all the extra bits but we'll see how it all unfolds.
