Not this weekend for myself.

fwiw; I am going to do a long Chilterns run on Saturday morning as prep for a Ridgeway ride in August, I might even go over the top of the ridge to take in part of the Icknield Way - a fabulous descent but the price will be a killer climb back up that same ridge.

As Summer is temporarily here;... maybe a mid week evening 'blast' around Swinley next Mon, Tues or Weds. I will post here, perhaps at short notice, in case anyone wants to join in. I am currently trying to keep to 3 rides per week; 1 long and 2 short and one of those short ones to be at high tempo.

The plan would be to hang together a 12-15 mile route that flows sweetly and keeps central so no Corkscrew or Labyrinth (focussing on tempo rather than distance).

eg Top part of Whole 9 yards, then onto Stickler & Tank Traps, then pick up Watson's Wander and onto Seagull, back into the middle past Stickler's start and taking Whole 9 Yards lower section to Jump Gulley. Rest, eat, drink, play then up to the Reservoir and a couple of different downhill runs including the Ski Jump. Back to Car Park via parts of the Whole 9 yards and Twisted Sister.

P.S If it is warm and stays summery I may even bring a couple of beers/pimms in a cool bag for a small refreshing drink afterwards (and lots of water of course as I will have to drive home).

Sounds great, Steven. Will be up for it on my return from the Lake District, where I will be next week.

Will be 'radio silent' for a while (to great sighs of relief from the Mole community, no doubt)
