Is there anyone planning on riding tonight? I've never been on the wed night ride, but fancy it if anyone else is planning on going out tonight. Light are charged and ready to go, I may not be quite so charged, but ready to go! :D

Hmmmmm.

I do need a ride, but the Met office is forecasting a band of rain from the west between about 7pm and 10pm.

So I think I will say "maybe" and see how things look on the rainfall radar nearer the time. :geek:

I plan to be out unless the rain is looking too miserable. Having ridden in rain three out of the last five rides I'm not too bothered but Dave's rule may kick in - ie if it's raining heavily as you are about to leave the house...

MIGHT be the possibility of heading toward Wisley for a change, not technical but somewhere different.

Yes, a blast from my riding past is hoping to join us tonight to check out one of the Four4th lights and we thought we might take the opportunity to explore a route round Wisley area. Nothing too exciting, pure XC, but different from our normal routes.

Great, so unless anyone say's anything different I'll aim to be at the meeting point below 7.30.

On Wednesdays we meet at the Hylands Garage (Esso) in Bookham, on the A246. Meet time is 7.30pm, leaving at 7.40pm. We'll be finishing in the dark, so lights required (most of the year). The garage post code is KT23 4RQ.

Martin just rung me to say he's not feeling well so this will probably revert to a normal ride. I'm opting out as well.

Working on a ride report but folks... just me and JonH last night??

And it was hardly raining; quite warm in fact. Glad I went out!
