OK, so it's not exactly the solstice but I'm suggesting we go for a winter evening ride this Sunday to mark the occasion. Next week is the molemeal(TM) so no good then and the following week peeps are likely to be busy.

So, how does 3:30PM @ Bockett's Car Park sound for a normal moles Sunday ride i.e we can decide the route and ride exactly how we normally would. It will just happen to be mainly in the dark!

If you haven't done any night riding before though, this may not be the best time to start.

The evening Winter Solstice ride is a nice idea for a change Matt, but Sunday am looks dri-ish and heavy rain is forecast from 12:00 onwards!

Afraid I cant do the afternoon, sorry! I'll be out for a spin in the morning if there's anyone around.

If Moles are out right now they are getting very wet, it's p!$$ing it down here; best described as character forming.

Went out this morning for a short blast around Headley Heath. Conditions might be described as 'heavy going' were we to be horse racing. Some fine sideways action on the slimier singletrack.

Bumped into Andy W and pals on Secret Singletrack. At the risk of being drummed out of the Moles, showed them Life on Mars which they'd not ridden before. Then saw Roadie Tim in Mickleham. This was shortly after an eventful descent of Chainbreaker, which should now be renamed Framebreaker.

Yep, the Pace 405 frame has gone again, snapping neatly across the seat tube below the top tube where the suspension rocker mounts are welded. I would love to say it was on landing a 20 foot drop, but that was just in my dreams.

As this is my second frame in 2 years, I think I will see if Pace will consider a switch to a different design.
