Any thoughts? I'm thinking more techincal but that might has something to do with me riding Down Blind Terror for the first time in ages as well as the more rooty line down BT2 yesterday.

The threat of rain seems to have lifted so we can play local or head over to Peaslake (or Swinley)

What do you think?

I like the idea of a Swinley trip, whilst the trails are so good.

But a visit to Holmbury would be good too.

Last Saturday; Swinley was bone dry, fast and even dust free. I covered all areas, 24 miles and noticed there has been a lot of clearance in Crowthorne Woods (not effecting the trails, just the view), but I cannot join you as I am going to Swindon on Sunday (see other thread) for the Croft Open Day.

I have decided to park at the Croft Trail (fyi a 3.5 mile man made circuit - it will be my first visit), go for a 19 mile ride that takes in part of the local hiils, Ridgeway and the old Swindon-Marlborough railway before returning to Croft for a few laps and refreshment at the BBQ, coffee & cake vans on hand supporting the open day. I also get a chance to meet the Swindon guys and gals again (whom I am guiding at Swinley at the end of April).

So have a good one if you go, or if you delay one week (maybe even Good Friday or Easter Monday if that helps) then I am up for that.

I'm off to afan tomorrow for a day trip ( full tank of fuel ) so not sure if I will be riding Sunday but both Holmbury and Swinley sound perfect in such dry conditions .

I've blown my rear shock and it's not holding any air.

What's worse is my hard tail (aka ball breaker / sex changer) is in Marky Marks garage. He's on holiday! :x

Might have to buy a road bike after all................

That's blown it Danny!

Right, in an extraordinary meeting of the Moles (Jem, Karl and myself in the garage with a lead pipe) the decision is Swinley!

Might a move a motion for an 8am start (at the Lookout)?

I am good for Swinley provided that I have put my rear hub together properly...will test saturday.

FYI the rumour is that when they put a parking charge on the lookout they will no longer require or sell day permits. I don't think they will have it in place for this weekend though.
