With a few dry days on the trails and NE winds it should be alright on Sunday. Especially if we hit the sandy stuff.

I'm planting the seed and suggesting the Newlands loop - with that little extra bit i'm always going on about - across Black Heath and, this time, all the way up to St Martha's church, down the other side to Chantry's before popping out on the North Downs just a couple of miles West of the cafe...

We did this 2 weeks ago. We'll need a lot of tubes and that climb up to Martha's was unridable 2 weeks ago so i doubt the rain has improved it. I don't have a better idea though.

I can't make it as we are inlaw visiting, also I am still broken from the centre-parcs cable water-ski. I will probably head out solo on Sunday afternoon and try to see what still works!

Sounds good to me. We could adapt route slightly and ride up water lane to newlands. St Marthers was very soft and sticky. Ill be out unless its absolutly tipping it down. Ray K.

New cassette arrived in time from Shimano, so I'll be there.

Ray - are you planning to ride from Thames Ditton to Bocketts?

Thinking I may grace the Moles with my presence tomorrow. Please be patient with me on the hills :(

I will no doubt be making my way back from Newlands Corner at a more sedate pace than many of you. So if the less energetic Moles wish to make emerge from their winter burrows, they will definitely have some company on the return leg :)
