For this ride report I would like to tell it in the form of a dance.

Dandy TIP

Actually, the thought of Dandy in a tutu just made me rethink that so here’s a video instead.

Dave's been riding seriously since about 1997 and is one of the founding Molefathers — along with Matt and Mark — that came up with the idea of a MTB website for Mole Valley riders.

He's had several different bikes but it's now mainly 29ers in Dave's stable, apart from an Orange 5.

Current Bikes: Orange 5, Salsa Spearfish and Kona Big Unit

Does my bum look big in the video? (:-()

Thanks for taking the time and effort to do the vids and piccies chaps. Bloody nice of you!

Another smashing Moles ride in top notch company. Think we’ll have to find another way back from Newlands though I think, as that track was really long and very muddy.

Particularly enjoyed the simplicity of singlespeed and even managed to get home without feeling too unwell!

See you all soon. Might need the mud tyres again next week. 🙁

Despite the rain the trails weren’t too bad, though with more prolonged rain they ain’t goin to get any better, either 🙁 Like Karl, Kev, Dave and Elliott; singlespeed was the way to go. Had to wait for Karlos to lead the way on some trails, before I sheepishly followed ! That choccie cake at Newlands Corner was pretty darn good and worth a mention 🙂
